Terms of Service & Safety Policy

Stay durations are calculated based on consecutive nights booked in a single reservation. Discounts for long-term stays (2+ weeks) are automatically applied at checkout.

Worked examples: a 3-night stay at $25 per night is a $75.00 base, a $7.50 Guest Service Fee (10%) and an $18.00 Safety & Care Fee ($6.00 x 3), so the guest pays $100.50. A 14-night stay at the same nightly rate is a $350.00 base, a $17.50 Guest Service Fee (5%) and a $42.00 Safety & Care Fee ($3.00 x 14), so the guest pays $409.50. The Host Commission Fee is always deducted from the host payout and is never taken from the Safety & Care Fee.

At PetShare, community safety is our top priority. We align our platform safety guidelines with leading pet business insurance providers in Australia, such as Pet Business International Australia, to cover our growing host and guest network.

Full insurance coverage activation is seamlessly integrated as booking volume grows. During this launch phase, individual hosts are also encouraged to maintain their own personal liability insurance before confirming care arrangements.
